The website and the team’s tools
Digital team
A volunteer role in the Digital team: you report to the Head of Digital and Team Tools. You hold delegated administrator roles, scoped to what each task needs; super-administration stays with the presidency. A confidentiality commitment, signed when you join, governs your access to personal data.
Assignments
- Manage the account lifecycle: automatic creation when an application is accepted, changes of role, departures with Drive files transferred
- Maintain the groups and sub-groups through which all access is granted, and the organisational units for each team and lab
- Administer shared drives and their managers, and the Classification label: public, internal, confidential
- Look after the Google Chat spaces fed by the groups, and the email signatures with their seasonal banners
- Keep everything secure: two-step verification on every account, alerts, admin reports read every week
- Configure Gemini and Classroom in line with the rules set with the AI team, the Talent team and the Data Protection Coordinator, retention periods included
- Document every setting in the administration guide, in English and French
- Work with the Head of Digital and Team Tools and with the Google Automation Developer, who maintains YouthShare’s administration tool
Tools to master
- Google Admin console: accounts, groups, units, security and reports
- Google Drive: shared drives, managers and labels
- Google Chat, Gmail and Classroom: spaces, signatures and courses
- YouthShare’s administration tool (Node.js): preview, then apply changes
What you will deliver
- An up-to-date administration guide, with every setting explained
- A monthly security update for the Head of Digital and Team Tools
- A quarterly access review, group by group
Profile we are looking for
- Hands-on experience administering online tools, ideally Google Workspace
- A solid security culture: two-factor authentication, least-privilege access
- Rigour, discretion and a habit of documenting
A volunteer role, open to young people

The experience we ask for can come from a course, a student project, an internship, volunteering or a personal project: every skill counts, wherever you gained it. Our roles are designed first and foremost for young people, and we weigh your motivation and potential as carefully as your track record. Want to be part of something big? Apply.
Nice to have
- A Google Workspace certification or training
- Basic JavaScript or Python
- Good English and French
What this role gives you
- Full administration of an international Google Workspace, valued in any organisation
- Practical experience of security and access governance
- Working alongside the developers and the Digital team

The one-year commitment
A non-profit project is built over time. Every volunteer therefore commits for at least one year: time to settle in, carry the assignment through and pass on what they have learned. The weekly time depends on the role and is given in each role description.
How selection works
Online application
You choose a role, present your background and attach your CV. A confirmation email gives you your reference.
Profile review
The Talent team reads every application, matches it with the needs of the role and sends you a first reply by email within three days on average.
Video interview
A conversation to get to know each other and shape the assignment together.
Decision and arrival
You receive our answer by email, followed by a welcome to the team and access to its tools.
