Digital team

A volunteer role in the Digital team: you report to the Head of Digital and Team Tools. An administrator role limited to usage reports gives you aggregate figures. A confidentiality commitment, signed when you join, governs your access to personal data.

Assignments

  • Lead the Digital Tools Champions network, one person in each team and lab: recruitment with the Talent team, a monthly meeting, shared materials
  • Build an adoption plan for each tool: Google Workspace for every volunteer, Classroom, the Talent space for those who recruit
  • Read Google Workspace usage reports and Classroom progress every month, as aggregate figures for each team and lab, and describe this monitoring in the volunteer guide
  • Write a monthly adoption note for the Head of Digital and Team Tools: progress, friction points, priorities
  • Produce guides and short videos with the Learning Pathways Officer
  • Pass on teams’ requests and ideas to the Google Workspace and Salesforce administrators and to the developers
  • Run themed campaigns: a tidy Drive week, a templates week, a shared calendar week
  • Work with the Talent team on the place of the tools in the onboarding journey for new volunteers

Tools to master

  • Google Admin console, with a role limited to reports: usage reports, as aggregate figures
  • Google Classroom and Looker Studio: course progress and tracking dashboards
  • Google Chat and Meet: running the champions network
  • Google Docs: tool guides, in both languages

Second month

Third month

Profile we are looking for

The one-year commitment

A non-profit project is built over time. Every volunteer therefore commits for at least one year: time to settle in, carry the assignment through and pass on what they have learned. The weekly time depends on the role and is given in each role description.

How selection works

  1. Online application

You choose a role, present your background and attach your CV. A confirmation email gives you your reference.

  2. Profile review

The Talent team reads every application, matches it with the needs of the role and sends you a first reply by email within three days on average.

  3. Video interview

A conversation to get to know each other and shape the assignment together.

  4. Decision and arrival

You receive our answer by email, followed by a welcome to the team and access to its tools.
