YouthShare on the ground
Clubs & events team
The Events Project Manager keeps the calendar and logistics of every event; you look after the relationship with each speaker of the webinars and online exchanges you help create. A volunteer role in the clubs and events team: you report to the Programmes and Field Lead.
This role is for you if…
- You write a clear, courteous message first time
- You keep a calendar across time zones with precision
- You like people to leave pleased with their visit
Assignments
- Write and send invitations in English and French, telling each person where their contact details came from and that they can object to any further contact, then follow up courteously
- Set each date across several time zones and confirm it in writing
- Prepare a clear briefing for each speaker: audience, format, questions, host, technical setup
- Arrange the technical rehearsal with the Webinar Technical Producer
- Collect each speaker’s image and voice consent for recording and broadcast, using the template kept by the Legal Affairs Officer
- Put together each speaker’s kit: biography, photo, session visuals prepared with the Lab Motion Designer
- Thank each person after the session, send the links to the video and short clips, and keep the relationship going
- Hand over to the Head of Partnerships and Institutional Relations when a partnership takes shape
Tools to master
- Google Calendar: invitations and meetings across time zones
- Gmail and Docs: invitations, briefings and speaker kits
- Google Forms: image and voice consent
- Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud: the history of exchanges with each speaker
How we measure success
- Every guest receives their briefing and a technical rehearsal before the session
- Guests who come back or recommend YouthShare
Profile we are looking for
- Polished, warm and precise writing in English or French
- A sense of organisation and follow-up
- Ease with senior contacts
- Reliability: every commitment kept on the agreed date
- Open to adults aged eighteen and over

Our roles are designed first and foremost for young people, and we weigh your motivation and potential as carefully as your track record. Want to be part of something big? Apply.
Nice to have
- Experience in public relations, events or protocol
- Good English and French
What this role gives you
- Direct exchanges with prominent figures from many fields
- End-to-end experience of speaker relations, valued in events and communication
- A visible role in every webinar and online exchange you help create
