YouthShare on the ground

Clubs & events team

Clubs and events bring YouthShare to life, in person and online: meet-ups, palavers, talks, lab days.

Assignments

  • Set the team’s annual roadmap: clubs, events and formats shared with the labs
  • Lead the team, including club coordination and event project management: priorities, regular check-ins, mutual support
  • Choose the year’s highlights with the lab leads, for the team to turn into an events calendar
  • Work with each lab to design formats clubs can run in person: palavers, debates, foresight workshops, field projects
  • Agree common rules for clubs and events with the Board: working with minors, image rights, photo credits, accessibility
  • Track the Clubs and Events programmes in Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud and draw up an annual review
  • Showcase work on the ground with the communication team, including on the “In the field” page
  • Build the team’s projects with the fundraising and partnerships team, and represent clubs and events on the coordination team

  • Microsoft Teams: team check-ins and online meet-ups

A volunteer role, open to young people

Every role we offer is fully voluntary. The experience we ask for can come from a course, a student project, an internship, volunteering or a personal project: every skill counts, wherever you gained it. • Good English and French

What this role gives you

The one-year commitment

A non-profit project is built over time. Every volunteer therefore commits for at least one year: time to settle in, carry the assignment through and pass on what they have learned. The weekly time depends on the role and is given in each role description.

How selection works

  1. Online application

You choose a role, present your background and attach your CV. A confirmation email gives you your reference.

  2. Profile review

The Talent team reads every application, matches it with the needs of the role and sends you a first reply by email within three days on average.

  3. Video interview

A conversation to get to know each other and shape the assignment together.

  4. Decision and arrival

You receive our answer by email, followed by a welcome to the team and access to its tools.
