Voice, networks and visual identity
Communication & social media team
After the live session, every webinar or online exchange becomes a full video, short clips and subtitles in both languages. This volunteer role in the communication and social media team is shared between several editors: you report to the Communication Strategy Lead. You produce the long formats; the Short-Form Video Editor produces the vertical clips.
Assignments
- Edit the full video of each webinar: opening and close from the brand video kit, chapters, balanced sound levels
- Cut highlights of a few minutes from each session, each built around one strong idea
- Produce lab videos with the lab leads: introductions, behind the scenes, project stories
- Edit the training videos for the Google Classroom courses, from scripts already written
- Add the subtitles prepared by the Subtitler and Video Translator
- Protect young participants in the edit: keep only the images and voices covered by a consent form, with a parent’s agreement for every minor, and blur or cut the rest
- Export each video in each platform’s format and pass it to the YouTube Specialist
- Archive projects and media in the team’s shared drive, filed and named by the common rule
Tools to master
- DaVinci Resolve: editing, colour grading and mixing
- Descript, on the association’s account: editing from the transcript
- Auphonic, on the association’s account: sound levels
- Brand video kit: openings, closes, lower thirds and watermarks for each lab
- Google Drive: projects, media and archives

Profile we are looking for
- Command of video editing software
