Making numbers readable and useful
Data, impact & visualisation team
YouthShare’s analyses draw on data: climate, employment, education, demography. The team turns it into clear charts, maps and infographics, and measures the association’s impact.
Assignments
- Review, as an external reader, YouthShare’s research notes and reports, two formats in preparation: question, method, sources, limitations
- Receive your files from the Research, Quality and Impact Lead, who organises external reviews and their schedule
- Write reasoned reviews that inform the editorial board: its members provide the internal reviews, and the board decides on every publication
- Work with the lab closest to your field: advice on method, references, a fresh view of its research avenues
- Support the labs’ research officers, who lead the work: you bring a specialist’s view of their method and sources
- Suggest specialists from your network to the Research, Quality and Impact Lead for the pool of external reviewers
- Declare any conflict of interest with a file before giving your review
