Making numbers readable and useful
Data, impact & visualisation team
YouthShare’s analyses draw on data: climate, employment, education, demography. The team turns it into clear charts, maps and infographics, and measures the association’s impact.
Assignments
- Set the method and sourcing standards for publications, with the editorial team and within the editorial charter
- Build a pool of external reviewers, specialists in the labs’ themes, and organise their reviews of research notes and reports, two formats in preparation
- Advise authors of research notes on their method, from the initial question to publication
- Interpret the impact indicators tracked in Salesforce (Outcome Management) with the Impact Evaluation Officer, and turn them into recommendations for the Board and the labs
- Check that every public claim YouthShare makes rests on evidence: the association’s records, the published site, cited sources
- Lead the data, impact and visualisation team: priorities, requests from the labs, review of charts and data processing
- Review the annual impact report before it goes out
- Represent your team on YouthShare’s coordination team
