Direction, coordination and advocacy
Leadership & coordination team
YouthShare Initiatives brings together young people from several continents around five labs. In each country where the association takes root, a Country Coordinator organises its presence, and YouthShare announces that presence once the country team is in place.
Assignments
- Build YouthShare’s roadmap for your country with the General Coordinator, then report on its progress every quarter
- Bring together and lead the country team: online meet-ups, mutual support, and welcoming new members with the Talent team
- Connect members in the country with the five labs: research avenues, debates, calls for contributions, projects
- Support the country’s YouthShare clubs with the YouthShare Clubs Coordinator, who guides each club from its launch to its reviews
- Coordinate the work of each City Coordinator in the country, who brings YouthShare to life in their city, and of each YouthShare Ambassador, who shares the association’s calls through their networks
- Give the Southern Compass correspondents in the country, who document local realities, access to contacts, field sites and introductions
- Identify universities, youth organisations and institutions in the country that YouthShare can work with, and introduce them to the Head of Partnerships & Institutional Relations, who leads each partnership
- Build the country’s calendar of meet-ups with the clubs and events team, which each City Coordinator then runs in their city
- Prepare the announcement of YouthShare’s presence in the country with the communication team, once the team is in place and the decision is taken with the Board
