Assignments

  • Analyse young people’s trust and participation with the lab, using microdata from major opinion surveys
  • Apply each survey’s weights and compare age groups, countries and successive rounds
  • Add open sources on civic space: V-Dem, civic space monitors, electoral turnout data
  • Prepare data briefs for the Civic Engagement Analyst, who gathers young people’s views, and for the debate facilitators
  • Agree comparison methods and the interpretation of gaps with the Statistical Analyst
  • State each brief’s survey limitations: sample, question wording, collection context
  • Design charts with the Data Visualisation Designer
  • Feed into the position papers of the Advocacy and Public Policy Lead
