AI in service of the mission
Artificial intelligence team
At YouthShare Initiatives, artificial intelligence is part of everyday work: Claude, first and foremost, and ChatGPT support research, writing, translation and organisation. The AI team makes demanding, useful and responsible use of them, in service of the five labs.
Assignments
- Build the association’s AI roadmap, team by team and lab by lab
- Administer the team’s Claude and ChatGPT workspaces: accounts, shared projects, connectors, permissions
- Choose tools and subscriptions, and track both their cost and their use
- Coordinate the AI team and set its quarterly priorities
- Train volunteers in good practice, from the first prompt to advanced projects
- Measure time saved and quality achieved, and report to the board
- Keep up with models, features and programmes for non-profits
- Represent YouthShare in discussions on AI for the public good
Tools to master
- Claude: projects, connectors, Skills, Claude Code and the API Console
- ChatGPT: custom GPTs, projects, team workspaces and connectors
- Microsoft 365: the association’s workplace and its integrations

- AI provider dashboards: tracking usage and billing
Your first three months
- Month 1: interviews with every team and an inventory of current Claude and ChatGPT use
- Month 2: AI roadmap presented to the board, with priorities and budget
- Month 3: first shared projects live and a training path launched
Profile we are looking for
- Outstanding command of Claude and ChatGPT, day to day and on advanced projects
- Strategic vision: linking a tool to a need and a result
- Experience leading change or training teams
- Solid understanding of model limits: hallucinations, bias, confidentiality
- Leadership, teaching skills and organisation

The one-year commitment
A non-profit project is built over time. Every volunteer therefore commits for at least one year: time to settle in, carry the assignment through and pass on what they have learned. The weekly time depends on the role and is shown on each role page.
